How GST works in Singapore
Singapore GST is 9 percent of the price before GST. To add it, multiply by 1.09: 100 becomes 109. To take it out, divide a GST-inclusive total by 1.09: 109 contains 9 of GST.
Only GST-registered businesses charge GST. Some supplies, such as exports of goods and international services, are zero-rated at 0 percent. Check with IRAS if you are unsure how your work is treated.
